110 years in the making
Historic church manse provides home-away-from-home to travelers.
Originally built as a Church manse in the 1880s, and still standing in its original place adjacent the Presbyterian Church on Bridge Street, Bridge Street Inn opened its doors as a charming, affordable, and comfortable bed & breakfast in 1998.
Nearly 20 years later, we continue welcoming travelers the world over with warm, friendly, and relaxing accommodations ripe with nostalgia and "good vibes."
The Bridge Street Inn offers charm and comfort; small and unique private rooms with shared baths (and one private room with private half bath). Our spaces have the added benefit of a shared kitchen and social atmosphere. The perfect space for individual travelers or retreats for writers, crafters, yoga, artists, families, and friends.
We value reuse, recycle, repurpose. Keeping the three R’s in mind, we have created a decor that is functional, fresh, and fun. We are always looking for cool objects, furniture, and art to make the Bridge Street Inn a one-of-a-kind experience.
The Bridge Street Inn offers guests a light, self-serve breakfast of homemade muesli as well as a coffee and tea bar. Our kitchen and lounge are available for guest use in the mornings and evenings.
Guests have access to the Bridge Street Inn all day. The lounge, kitchen, and bathrooms are cleaned between 10AM to 5PM. During these hours we jam out to rock 'n' roll in concert with the sound of the vacuum. We hope you won't mind the noise. Guests are encouraged to go surfing, day trip to Big Sur, take a yoga class, go paddle boarding, bicycle ride, read, make art, and hike.
The property is within easy walking distance to highly-rated restaurants and quirky Cambria shops. Beautiful Moonstone Beach is one mile from the Inn.
Two cups of coffee and a bowl of our homemade muesli powered the 6.5 mile Fiscalini Ranch Preserve hike shown below:
Parking is free, plus a Type 2 40 amp EV charging station, and plentiful, and yes, we do have Wifi (no t.v.'s, though).
Cambria is a quintessential California beach town and artist enclave that offers up a variety of meaningful and inspiring activities for the artist, musician, foodie, nature lover, hiker, surfer, and bicycle rider within city limits.
